The Replaced
The focus of the assignment was to create an adaptation of a written script into a unique and compelling narrative media. The script we chose, "The Replaced", was written for this class by myself and another classmate. This script was also chosen by two other teams in the class, allowing us to see different interpretations of the story.
My main role in this team project was creating all assets and artwork as the illustrator.

Reflection
During the ideation phase, I studied other art styles to craft a visual style that aligned with our vision for this script. Based on the project's timeline and scope, I had to craft the minimum amount of frames to clearly convey the action in the story. This forced me to think critically about what is needed to visually communicate the story and supplement the dialogue. During the process, I also developed skills to draw environments and objects in different perspectives.
